Fat Chilli Limited ("We"/”Us”) are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our website users and we ask that you read this Privacy Policy carefully as it contains important information about how we may collect and use your personal data.

This policy (together with the Terms and Conditions of Use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. 

We endeavour to collect and use your personal data only with your knowledge and consent and typically when you use services, make customer enquiries, register for information or other services, or when you respond to communications from us.  You can visit this website without disclosing any personal data about yourself but you acknowledge that by providing data to us you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”), the data controller is Fat Chilli Limited of Spinners Studios, 14 Spinners Close, Pellon, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 4RT (i.e. the company who is responsible for, and controls the processing of, your personal data).

Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.fat-chilli.com (“our site”). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, posting material or requesting further information or services. We may also ask you for information if you report a problem with our site.
  • If you contact us, or respond to communications from us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of any orders.

Use of cookies

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for direct marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data, or intend to disclose your information to any third party, for such purposes. Access to information

The Act gives you the right to request access to personal data held about you.

If you wish to exercise this right you should put your request in writing to us, for the attention of the Data Controller of Fat- Chilli Limited, at the address shown below.

Your request should include your full name and address, proof of your identity and address (for example a copy of your driving licence or passport and a recent utility or credit card bill) and details of the personal data you want access to, including any account or reference numbers.  An administration fee of £10.00 is currently payable and a cheque made payable to Fat Chilli Limited for this amount should accompany your request.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time and you should check this policy occasionally to ensure you are aware of the most recent version which applies when you access our site.
